Pizza Villa And Italian Restaurant Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. I used to have a love-hate relationship with both Pizza Villa locations. Sometimes, their pizza was awesome. Other times it wasn't. When it wasn't, it was atrocious. The underside was charred and little bits of it would fall onto your plate as you tried to eat. The toppings slid off so easily it was more practical to eat it with a knife and fork. The crust was chewy and flavorless. I liked to get their pepperoni bites, which were also hit or miss. Sometimes they came out of the kitchen so brown and burned that I really questioned my server's judgment for bringing them out to me. And sometimes the person making them put one measly sliver of pepperoni per bite! Or worse, forgot to put ANY on a few of them, so it was just bread. And the service; don't get me started. It was terrible. Don't get me wrong, the waitresses were all cordial, but the food takes forever! And it'd be one thing if the food was great when it finally got there, but half the time it wasn't. Also, no delivery service always has been and will be a huge setback for them. In years past Pizza Villa used to be the pizza place of choice for my family. Now, we pass it up for PJs. They have better food and they deliver too. Bye Pizza Villa; guess you forgot what made you famous.

Food is good and servers are very nice BUT that is where it STOPS... I had an issue and asked for the manager I then voiced my complaint and he was of NO HELP.. I then told him I would tell all my friends about my experience and he told me " If I thought I had enough influence to affect his business then go right ahead" those were his exact words.... I would eat at this location all the time but NO MORE I will not be back because of the managers no regard for customers.

Very friendly service however the food is too salty and they use way too much mozzarella on the pizza.

Being from NY I'm a tough critic when it comes to Italian. We stopped at this place on a whim and I ordered the Grandma Chicken Dinner and it was amazing!! The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The parking is small and was completely filled and there was a wait but it was worth it!

We ordered any special like we have done many times before. We we picked it up and took it back home and we sat down to eat it we realized that it was not a Danny special it was a very clean tasting pizza. We called up to te ask them if we had gotten a plain pizza by mistake they said no it was a Danny special, we playing to home you always tasted like was crushed tomatoes no flavor at all. I had to bring it back to them when I got there to get my money back they said the owner's not here and I can't give a refund so just give me a credit for a future pizza. They refused to give me my money because they said the owner wasn't there and he wouldn't even refund they would just give me credit for a future pizza. I said what if I never come here again the manager kind of shrugged her shoulders and said sorryI left my phone number for the owner to call me, let's see if he does. I'll tell you all never go here again I can get attitude somewhere else

Pizza Villa was ranked Number one in the "Best of Hernando" for pizza, so needless to say this sampling had to be tried. I like that they again do individual sized pizzas for lunch, as I can't (well I can but would rather not) get a whole pie for myself. I know other places do pizza by the slice but there is something about an individual pizza that is just very pleasing to me. I'm British, I'm strange, and I'm ok with it. I tried two different pizzas to get a good overview of their selection. The first was the chef's sauce, which is a plain cheese pizza with a delicious garlic tomato sauce. Then, the second pizza was topped with (you guessed it) sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, peppers and onions. Even the cheese pizza (I never have 'plain' pizza, but I bowed to pressure when I went) was wonderful, but I was eager to try the main event. The pizza definitely lives up to the hype. The crust is thin but still thick enough to withstand the sauces and toppings. Speaking of the sauce; wonderful is the word that springs to mind. Very flavorful and you actually get a good portion of it on the pizza. The toppings were fantastic. This catapulted Pizza Villa right into my top three. It's a REALLY, REALLY, good pizza. Try it if you haven't. They have a couple of locations and are accessible to both ends of town.

I would really love to give them a higher score. However, the place is small so if you want to eat in hope you get lucky enough to not have to wait. And since the service isn't the fastest you def wait longer than you should. The pizza is great 75% of the time. Then other times it just sucks. Usually on Sundays I find it to be not as good. We always get a large pizza and a bowl of the seafood bisque. And I also find on Sundays the bisque is not as good as other times. I love this place but always very hesitant in going or ordering. I never know what I'll get. If village pizza was closer I'd probably go there. But this is 0.5 miles from the house.

The best pizza in Spring Hill by far. Light crisp crust. Sweet sauce and a lot of flavor. Nice small room to eat and a pleasant staff. Very good. Our friend always has her food catered from here and it is always great.
